SHaDPitch is the only program of its kind: a hotel investment pitch competition that gives women the real-world education, mentorship, and capital access you won’t find in anywhere else!
Participants develop and pitch their own hotel investment project, gaining hands-on experience in what it truly takes to become an owner and investor. The winner receives $50,000 in capital to invest in their own hotel, and all participants leave with the networks, expertise, and confidence to succeed.
The Power of SHaDPitch
Throughout the program, participants are guided by SHaD’s proprietary 9-Stage Hotel Investment Roadmap, a results-driven framework that turns ideas into successful hotel deals. Participants learn how to identify and analyze opportunities, structure financing, pitch their concepts to investors, navigate legal and operational complexities, and build credibility as real owners.
They gain hands-on experience, mentorship from industry leaders, and access to the networks and capital that make ownership attainable.
With each new year our momentum grows bigger and stronger.
How SHaDPitch Works
Over the eight month SHaDPitch timeline, participants gather together virtually for weekly masterclass and coaching sessions led by industry luminaries. These sessions guide the participants as they work through their hotel concepts. The program culminates with each participant pitching their deal in person to prospective investors and industry leaders during SHaDPitch, the annual pitch competition in May.

The Early Careerist Track is building the pipeline of future women hotel owners + developers.
She is just beginning her career and does not have the business experience or resources to sponsor a hotel investment project “today". She is interested in hotel ownership and development and would like to begin exploring the possibilities.

FAQ
Can team members attend different schools? Yes. As long as participants meet the criteria of being a current student or recent graduate (within 3 years post graduation).
Do I have to be a Hospitality major or have worked in the hotel industry? No. She Has a Deal is open to all women from all education and career backgrounds.
How much does it cost? $1,300 for Early Careerist. These fees are per participant.
When are participant fees due? Participant fees are due at the time of application. If you are not selected for the program, your fee will be fully refunded.
I applied and I am no longer interested. Can I get a refund? All participant fees are Non-refundable EXCEPT for those who are not selected for the program.
How much time is required? Participating in She Has a Deal requires significant time to obtain the knowledge required to become a hotel owner and developer. We cannot specify the number of hours per week required; however, MasterClass Sessions & Workshops are held once per week for 1-2 hours from September through March. Additional time will be required to find your deal, analyze it, and prepare to pitch.
